TriMedx Recognized As One of the 2016 Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces

TRIMEDX and Medxcel Facilities Management today have been recognized together as one of the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in North America for displaying leadership and innovation to engage employees in the workplace. TRIMEDX elevates clinical engineering through innovative management programs, and medical equipment lifecycle solutions. Medxcel Facilities Management provides healthcare facilities with the following services: Facilities Maintenance, Project Management and Construction, Safety and Emergency Management, Grounds, and Environment of Care.

“Engaging employees and promoting a positive workplace culture are now top priorities for business leaders in North America, and the elite companies on this list are already ahead of their peers and seeing positive effects from their programs,” said David Brennan, Achievers General Manager. “This award validates these companies’ commitments to creating a people-first focus and recognizes how having an engaged workplace has positive impacts across the business. Our sincere congratulations to all of the 2016 winners!”

Combined, TRIMEDX and Medxcel Facilities Management manage more than 2800 associates throughout North America. “Our Core Values include service of the poor, reverence, integrity, wisdom, creativity and dedication all of which create a culture of serving others,” said Barb Burcope, Senior Vice President, Human Resources. “That corporate culture inherently puts the ultimate focus on people and when the focus is on people, engaging them is a very natural effect.”

The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ Awards panel of judges evaluated each applicant based on the Eight Elements of Employee Engagement™: Communication, Leadership, Culture, Rewards & Recognition, Professional & Personal Growth, Accountability & Performance, Vision & Values and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The panel of judges included various academics and thought leaders on employee engagement, and included representation from organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), HR Technology Conference, and HRO Today.

“Our greatest investment is in our people. Without our people, we cannot positively impact healthcare delivery,” Burcope added.

TRIMEDX and Medxcel Facilities Management will be honored alongside other recipients of the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ Award at the awards gala on September 12th, 2016 at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto.
