TriMedx Chosen by Carondelet Health to Advance CE Program

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - May 15, 2006 - Indianapolis-based TriMedx, LLC announced today a new partnership with Carondelet Health, a nonprofit hospital system located in Kansas City, MO. The five-year contract for clinical engineering services goes into effect on May 1, 2006. Carondelet Health is the nineteenth Ascension Health ministry to select TriMedx's comprehensive equipment management program.

"Clinical engineering is one of the largest expenditures for a healthcare system. We are seeing substantial interest in our services because of our focus on providing high quality and cost-effective solutions across entire health systems," stated Greg Ranger, TriMedx CEO and President. In the past six months, TriMedx has established new clinical engineering service centers in Alaska, Arizona, and Missouri. With the creation of its new Axess Ultrasound business unit in January 2006, TriMedx now provides healthcare equipment management services in 26 states.
