The TriMedx Foundation's First Fundraiser a Success

HEAL Benefit Raises Awareness and Funds to Support Mission Work

The first annual HEAL Benefit, presented by TriMedx to benefit the TriMedx Foundation, was held in Indianapolis on November 5, 2005. The evening included dinner, wine and premium liquor tasting, speakers, silent auction, and a live auction

With over 170 people in attendance, thousands of dollars were raised which will support multiple medical mission trips over the next year

"This event had an amazing outcome for the TriMedx Foundation," stated Ron Tocco, the executive director of the Foundation. "We exceeded our monetary goal...which allows us to provide even more help to communities in need."

The keynote speaker was Jim Morris, whose Cinderella life story is chronicled in Walt Disney's movie The Rookie. Jim spoke on the power of dreams and letting go of intrinsic motivations which leads to the greater good. Volunteers from the Foundation's mission sites spoke about life in third-world countries and the ability of the TriMedx Foundation to impact healthcare and the quality of life in these communities.

One attendee noted, "Everyone I've spoken with enjoyed the Benefit. People got to have a fun evening, learn about the work of the Foundation, buy some unique items, eat, and go home knowing they supported a great cause."
