TriMedx Expands Services to the Gulf

Additional Hospitals Outside Indiana Take Company 'National'

Indianapolis, IN (May 25, 2001)- TriMedx, a leader in management and service of radiology, laboratory and biomedical equipment via regional service centers, announced that it has extended its clinical engineering services to two hospitals outside of Indiana: Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, and Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida- the combination has been named the "Gulf Hub."

The Gulf Hub service calls will be placed through the TriMedx call center, so that all documentation and record keeping will be collected and stored in the TriMedx database. This process allows for accurate and repeatable reporting. Managers and technicians have the ability, via the Internet, to track service history on any piece of equipment. A Customer Annual Report will show the performance of TriMedx, and will trend cost as a percent of acquisition value, cost per bed, customer satisfaction, and actual savings realized.

"The creation of the Gulf Hub is a very significant event for us," states TriMedx Vice President of Support Services Doug Puckett. "This is our first Hub outside the state of Indiana. All of the infrastructure that we have been working to develop over the past six months- intranet connections, call center set-up (for both our clients and dispatching technicians) etc., were put to the test and passed."

The company plans to continue to acquire clients outside of Indiana, including adding more hospitals to the Gulf Hub. Puckett claims, "Initiating the Gulf Hub has created a level of confidence with our infrastructure and a renewed momentum in being able to obtain and surpass our initial projections."
