TriMedx Creates New Service Center

INDIANAPOLIS - August 4, 2004 -- Binghamton, New York's, Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital (Lourdes) is taking a significant step in controlling medical equipment management costs through a new partnership with TriMedx.

TriMedx's knowledge of the industry and progressive quality management practices have secured business with over half of the Ascension Health hospitals and numerous other healthcare facilities across the country. It was this experience and success that made TriMedx the preferred vendor for Lourdes.

"We anticipate positive changes in our program that will contribute to our goals to improve service and enhance patient care in every area. The TriMedx program is important because they have shown they can control costs without outsourcing services and without losing the quality service we are accustomed to from our technical staff," stated David Patak, Senior VP of Operations at Lourdes.

Since recently signing contracts with two other New York hospitals in Lewiston and in Amsterdam, TriMedx plans to establish Lourdes as a new service center. It will become the fourteenth service center for TriMedx, which began expanding its services nationally in 1991. "It's an optimal situation for Lourdes Hospital to become a new service center because the technicians there have already established a great service culture," stated Larry Hertzler, Vice President of Marketing for TriMedx.
