Healthcare Heritage > Our History

2008

We surpassed a company goal of impacting 100,000 lives through charitable works two years sooner than expected. As a faith-based company, TriMedx regularly creates strategies and goals that align with our Core Values of Service to the Poor, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity, Reverence, and Dedication.

2007

TriMedx was recognized as a top healthcare partner in Modern Healthcare’s outsourcing survey. The survey analyzed number of contracted customers for clinical and diagnostic equipment management.

Also, we were awarded a Quality Service Award at an international conference sponsored by Service 800. The award was given to companies that consistently exceeded industry-wide service benchmark levels for over five years.

2006

We received the 2006 MIRA award in the health and life science sector. This Indiana technology award recognized our dedication to innovation, client-centric focus, charity, and economic contribution to the community.

We also launched our Axess Ultrasound business unit to expand ultrasound equipment services to existing clients and create an avenue for organizations seeking ultrasound equipment services, parts, or training.

2004

We created a separate non-profit entity to further our mission and focus, the TriMedx Foundation. The Foundation organizes the distribution of donated medical equipment and technician support to communities where the need is greatest.

Our ownership was transferred from St. Vincent Health to Ascension Health, the nation’s largest non-profit healthcare system. This transfer allowed us to operate on a larger scale and provide more focus to national clients.

2003

We launched RSQ, our customized equipment management system. This web-based software suite allows users to query, view, sort, and document information related to our clinical technology program.

2001

We expanded our clinical engineering market reach by signing our first two hospital system clients located outside the state of Indiana.

2000

We changed our name to TriMedx, and adopted our Trinity symbol logo, which represents our devotion to faith, dedication to our vocation, and our commitment to excellence.

1999

We began operating throughout Indiana as Technology Management Concepts.

1980's

We streamlined in-house processes and expanded into additional medical equipment modalities of imaging, laboratory, and speciality equipment.

1970's

St.Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis had a need for a focused effort of the management of its clinical equipment. An in-house biomedical department was formed to ensure patient safety and reduce expenses.
