President and Chief Executive Officer

Greg Ranger serves as president and CEO of Medxcel, a company he founded that is comprised of a growing family of health technology organizations geared toward positioning healthcare facilities for sustainable growth and superior patient care. Prior to this role, he founded TriMedx, a leading health technology management firm and currently Medxcel’s largest subsidiary. Greg continues to serve as president and CEO of TriMedx.

Greg also led the establishment of Medxcel’s other subsidiaries: TriMedx International, focused on optimizing healthcare technology and delivery around the world; Axess Ultrasound, providing ultrasound service, repair, training and parts to health care facilities worldwide; and eProtex, specializing in medical device security solutions. In addition, he created the TriMedx Foundation, a 501(c)(3) ministry that provides medical equipment technology support and biomedical repair to poverty-stricken nations around the globe.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan University and completed the University of Michigan Business School’s Executive Development Program. He is chairman of the board of the TriMedx Foundation, serves on the boards of the Ivy Tech Foundation and China Relief and Development and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dale Hockel, Senior Vice President, OperationsDale Hockel

Clients sometimes ask us what makes our clinical engineering programs so efficient, and we’ll typically point to Dale’s leadership. For nearly two decades, he’s helped organizations achieve new levels of excellence in operational management, project management, and customer service.
 
Prior to joining TriMedx, Dale applied his expertise to customer service challenges at Diebold Inc., Rockwell International, and Sony. Recognizing the importance of his own professional development to his employers’ success, he’s earned a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Zenger Miller Facilitator certification in Front Line Leadership, and completed extensive training in Lean Principles.
 
Dale earned a B.A. in Management Science from Buena Vista University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Association of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).

Michael Ryan, Vice President, SalesMichael Ryan

As the newest member of the TriMedx team, Michael Ryan brings us more than a decade of medical services experience. In his current role, Michael will work to develop TriMedx programs to maximize your clinical engineering performance and ROI. He will be charged with seeking solutions to answer today’s most critical health technology challenges.
 
Michael is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an officer in the U.S. Army where he was a Legion of Merit and Bronze Star recipient. He also holds a MBA and Master’s of Engineering Management degrees from Saint Martin’s College in Lacey, WA, and is a GE Six Sigma Black Belt. He is active in professional organizations such as the Healthcare Industry Distributors Association, Chief Marketing Officer Council, Internet Retailer Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
